DESCRIPTION:We have been ask to Honor John Nicholas Hillesheim by standing a flag line and escorting him to his final resting place \nRally point St Gianna Beretta Molla Parish\n1421 New Road\nNorthfield NJ 08225 \nGPS 39.374549\,-74.557839 \nRally time 0930 flag line in place by 0945 \nescort to Atlantic county vets. cemetery will follow mass \nDEATH NOTICE – Hillesheim\, John Nicholas\, 82 – of Northfield passed away on August 15\, 2013. A Navy veteran of 22 years\, he served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer and the recipient of the Vietnam Campaign Medal\, Navy Commendation Ribbon\, Good Conduct Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. He was also a retired bartender and loved golf and gardening. \nSurvived by his wife of 60 years\, Dolores (nee Lynskey)\, daughter Donna Ann and sons Jack and Eric. \nJohn said\,” I lived my life to the fullest\, I had a good life\, I travelled\, had a beautiful wife\, three great kids\, 16 beautiful grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. I am ready to go.” \nA viewing will be held from 10am-11am on Tuesday\, August 20th at St Gianna Beretta Molla Parish\, 1421 New Road\, Northfield where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am.
