Gunnersen\, 81\, USN (Ret) Korea/Vietnam\, San Diego\, CA – 10 Jun 2016\n\nThe family of US Navy Chief Claude Holger Gunnersen has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so. \nChief Gunnersen proudly served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1975.  He served in Korea and Vietnam. \nClaude was an avid Ham Radio operator and was proud of his service to his country.  He is survived by his wife\, Ginger Gunnersen\, two sons\, and one grandchild. \nThe family has request an accompaniment from the mortuary to Miramar National Cemetery. \nNote: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested\, and all are welcome\, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
