Another Arkansas Veteran, CPO Albert Ray “Punk” Cooksey, 88, has finished his tour of duty here with us. The family has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to see their Hero home to his final duty station with Honor, Dignity and Respect.
It will be an honor for us to stand for this Hero who stood for our country and us during Korea and Vietnam.
CPO Cooksey served twenty years as Gunner’s Mate in the Navy, not only during Korea but also Vietnam. When he finished his service in the military, this highly decorated sailor served his community for another two decades in the local school district.
