Conrad Anthony Baumer 86, of King, WI, formerly of Manawa, passed away early Thursday morning, August 29, 2019, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, King, Wisconsin, surrounded by his loving family. “Connie” was born in the Town of Little Black on December 11, 1932, one of nine children of Leo and Margaret Baumer. At the age of seventeen he enlisted in the United States Army, and began serving in Korea in December of 1950, at the beginning of the Korean War.
