The family of Albert D. ‘Don’ Byrum has requested that South Carolina Patriot Guard Riders conduct an Honor Mission acknowledging his service in the United States Navy (1966-1974). Mr. Byrum served in Vietnam and has served the veterans community for many years. He served as Commander of Chapter 3 of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), a District Commander for the DAV and he was a charter member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1049.
This will be a special event and will involve a long escort. You are welcome to participate in the entire mission or any part of it.
