Cohen Galloway Jr Comment

  1. Cohen Galloway, USA, WWII. There were 3 patriots on 3 bikes to answer the family request to escort their loved one to Beaufort National Cemetery. Of the 3 we had a first timer, Ken, stand with us and ride escort. The 3 bikes with 2 large flags led the hearse to the cemetery without the assistance of LEO. The short escort went smoothly. Once at the cemetery the members formed a flag line at the front of the committal shelter as the funeral procession approached. Honors were rendered as the hearse passed in front of the flag line. Honors were again rendered as the casket was moved into place in the shelter. The United States Army was present to perform Taps and folding of the flag. Again honors were rendered. Many family members and guests thanked each of us for our presence. There were no incidents. We stood down to prepare for mission number 2.
