Clyde Jenkins, 88, of Appleton, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in Appleton. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1946 where he served during the WWII, Korean and Viet Nam eras. Clyde was then Navy Recruiter here in Appleton from 1964 until 1967 when he retired from the Navy and remained living here with his family. Clyde was a life member of the Appleton American Legion Post #38 where he served as Past Post Commander and one of the founding members of the Scarlet Guard Color Guard. He also served two terms as a State Sargent at Arms. He was also a lifetime member of the Appleton VFW Post #2778.
