AFTER ACTION REPORT: SA Clayton Eugene Davidson, US Navy Veteran, Sapulpa, OK

Monday, 15 July 2019 was a very pleasant morning with a slight Northerly breeze. The PGR staged and briefed to posted flags that were blowing gently. Almost all of the family arrived early to the funeral home chapel. Numerous family joined the PGR to thank us for being there for their loved one. After many hand shakes and neck hugs the briefing was completed with a prayer. The PGR manned the door and a Flag Line was formed across the front of the chapel. When the service was started all flags were retrieved and prepared for the next mission. At the conclusion of the service, the PGR entered the chapel, Taps were played and the flag was folded by two Navy Veterans, it was presented to Mr. Davidson’s oldest son. The plaque and Invocation Letter were read and also presented to the son. He was receiving for his Mother who could not be there. A Final Salute was given and participated in by all in attendance. The PGR exited the chapel and formed a “Respect Line” as “Clay” Davidson was moved from the chapel into the coach. As the interment portion was going to be a private family service, the PGR was dismissed.

Thank you, to the Davidson family for inviting the PGR to be a part of this service to Honor this Hero. Thank you to the PGR riders that took time out of their day to “Stand and Honor” this hero.

“Rest in Peace” Clayton Eugene Davidson, US Navy Veteran, your mission is complete, you are gone, but your service to this Great Nation will never be forgotten.

Respectfully submitted:
