ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Clay Allen Curtis, 64, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to Stand in Honor of his Service to our Country. It was his Honor to serve his country as a SGT In the US Army in Vietnam as an Army Green Beret with the 5th Special Forces Group assigned to the MAC-V-SOG Special Mission Forces Unit. His Awards and Commendations include National Defense Service Medal, Parachute Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 Device, Sharpshooter Badge M16, and Bronze Star Medal. Mr. Curtis was a professionally rated skydiver and instructor with over 4800 jumps, most of them without injury. He enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles. He was a Member of the VFW Post 7542 in Birch Run, American Legion Post 99 and the Taymouth Historical Society. Mr. Curtis is Survived by 2 Daughters and 8 Grandchildren and a large extended family.
