ABOUT THE MISSION:
After serving in the Navy during WWII, flying F4’s and F5’s, Mr. Owens also served on the USS St. Louis and the USS South Dakota.After leaving the Navy Mr. Owens returned to Huntsville and became a motorcycle officer with Huntsville Police Department.
Later he also worked for the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. He has been an avid “biker” his whole life.
Mr. Owens will be joining friends at the Sundown Club for a birthday celebration, where the Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to “ride by” and stop to wish him a Happy Birthday.
We would be honored to show some appreciation to this WWII Veteran and former Law Enforcement Officer.
