ABOUT THE MISSION:
CJ Austin Imus is a United States Army Veteran. Joe enlisted on July 2, 2012 and his Military Occupation Specialty was helicopter repairer. Joe saw active duty for 6 years, including 1 year, 5 months and 3 days in a designated imminent danger area in Afghanistan. On July 2, 2018, having attained the rank of Sergeant, Joe was released from active duty, honorably discharged and transferred to the United States Army Reserve. Joe was awarded the following for his service to our country: Army Commendation Medal (3rd Award); Army Achievement Medal; Meritorious Unit Commendation; Army Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/Campaign Star; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon; NATO Medal; Basic Aviation Badge; Expert Marksmanship Badge w/pistol bar.
