He was a member of the First  Christian Church\, Emporia\, and served in the United States Marine Corps.[/FONT]\n[FONT=&quot]Funeral  services will be held at 2:00 P.M.\, Saturday\, November 29\, 2014 at  First Christian Church\, Emporia.
