Charles R. Thacker Comment

  1. AAR 3 July 2020 CPO Charles Robert Thacker USN. Tulsa/Rowland, OK

Mission Complete-On a very warm 3 July day 14 patriots assembled for the dignified transfer of USN CPO Charles Robert Thacker who is the only US Serviceman to have succumbed to complications of COVID-19, he was aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt docked in Guam when he passed in April and due to travel restrictions could not be sent home till now. The ride briefing was held, and all aspects of the mission discussed, a moment of silence for Silver, blue, and gold star families and all that serve, prayer was given for all that serve and the family of CPO Thacker. Riders stood a flag respect line as the hearse passed the cargo gate at which time 9 bikes and 1 cage escorted the Hero 111miles to Rowland, OK. under the fine guidance of 3 Oklahoma Hi way Patrol Troopers, OHP took the procession all the way to Rowland and PGR would like to thank these troopers for giving their time after the tragic week they have had. On arrival the Hero was handed over to the Arkansas PGR, Oklahoma PGR stood a respect line as the Hero was escorted on to Ft. Smith and then dismissed. Thanks to all that made this mission a success, again thanks to OHP for escort most of all thanks to CPO Charles Robert Thacker for his service to this nation, Prayers for his family.

    Respectfully; Dick”Kickstand”Fawcett
