Honor Mission
Charles R. Cooper, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

This will be a two part mission. The family of Charles Roland Cooper, 82, has requested the PGR to stand in honor of their loved one. Mr. Cooper was a Longshoreman, served time in the Navy, and worked as a Chaplain for Berkeley County Sheriff. He started his military service January 1956 in the US Navy. During his 11 year career, he served on several ships, supported the actions during the Cuban Missile Crisis and obtained the rank of MM2, E5. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (2nd), and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Cuba).

We will hold the flag line with rotation as necessary until the service begins. We will then stand down and prepare for the escort to Plantation Memorial Gardens.

Flag Line: We will render honors as they bring the hero out.
Escort to: Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 South Live Oak Dr., Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
While the service is going on, we will position our bikes for the escort. This is supposed to be a LEO escort. We will render honors when they bring the hero out of the church, then mount up for the escort.
Upon arrival, we will render honors and stand a flag line for the graveside service.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.
