The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand a silent flag line in honor of Charles Carpenter’s service to our country.
Charles Carpenter proudly served our country during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Charles served aboard the U.S.S. Joseph P. Kennedy, the only ship to stop and board a vessel headed for Cuba. Charles served 3 years in the U.S. Navy earning a good conduct medal. Charles retired from Golden Valley Dairy as a supervisor.

The procession to Great Lakes National Cementery will include vehicles of the family. Early staging time for this reason.
