ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent respect for this hero. Private Burgess stood for us and now we will stand for him. Private Burgess served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean war. The Patriot Guard Riders will escort Private Burgess from Sneads, Florida to the Tallahassee National Cemetery. His funeral service at the Tallahassee National Cemetery will begin at 1100 hours on Friday 8 March 2019. We will stand a flag line during his funeral service.

    May surviving family and friends find strength in acknowledgement that Charles J. Burgess was willing to sacrifice all that another might taste or maintain liberty and stood courageously where few dare tread and for such dedication to nation, duty, and service rendered, is so remembered and honored among patriots.
