The family of Charles E. Davis, US Army WWII veteran, has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand with honor, dignity and respect at his graveside service on July 21st in Luverne, MN.

Charles served his country in WWII from 6/42 – 12/45. He was a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division and jumped into Normandy on D-Day. Richard spent the last three years of his life living in the Eastern Nebraska Veteran’s Home in Bellevue, NE and will be laid to rest in Luverne, MN and was originally from Adrian, MN. Staging details:

1:30 pm: Stage at St. Catherine Cemetery in Luverne located on the north edge of Luverne on the west side of Hwy 75 across from the Luverne VA Home.

1:40 pm: Mission briefing

2:30 pm: Estimated dismissal.

Please bring your 3×5 flag and anything you need to be self-sufficient for this mission and drive or ride safely as we gather to honor US Army WWII Veteran Charles “Chuck” E. Davis and show our support for his family and loved ones.

Ride Captain for this mission will be Greg Matthiesen.
