ABOUT THE MISSION:

Charles “Chuck” Bondi served our Country in the U.S. Air Force and performed duties as an aircraft mechanic at Travis AFB, California. Mr. Bondi was later employed by Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, WA and Las Vegas, NV prior to his retirement. No additional military related information is available at this time.
The PGR has been requested to conduct a Pony Express Mission from Florida to Washington State. This mission post is for the Florida portion of the Mission only.

The family of Mr. Bondi has requested the PGR’s assistance in returning him home to his family, for which we are honored to do. We will be providing the first part of a very long 3,000+-mile Pony Express mission from Florida to Washington State.
7:15 AM – Brief
7:30 AM – KSU to the family residence
7:45 AM – Dignified Transfer
8:00 AM – KSU for escort
We will escort Mr. Bondi from the family’s residence to Gainesville and execute a dignified transfer to FL PGR District 4. This part of the escort is approximately 65 miles. We will be traveling at Interstate speeds, so ensure your flags are very secure.
