ABOUT THE MISSION:

The Patriot Guard has been given the privilege of providing a Pony Express mission for fallen United States Air Force veteran, Charles “Chuck” Bondi. Mr. Bondi entered into the U.S.A.F. at the age of 17 in 1953. He was stationed at Travis Air Force Base where he served as an aircraft mechanic. Further military details are not available.Hero Bondi loved his country, the military, and his family. His final journey will begin in the state of Florida on Monday June 1st, and conclude in the state of Washington on Tuesday June 9th. The St. Louis Patriot Guard will proudly provide an escort of honor and dignity from St. Louis to New Florence Missouri as our segment, of the 8 day Honor Escort and Dignified Journey of Mr. Bondi.Thank you Mr. Bondi for your patriotism and for your service to our country. Your selfless dedication is appreciated, and will never be forgotten.

05:00 PM – Staging / Ride meeting 05:15 to 05:30 PM – Welcome Mr. Bondi and the Illinois PGR 05:30 PM – Dignified transfer from Illinois PGR to Missouri PGR 05:45 PM – Departure 05:45 to 07:00 PM – Honor Escort to New Florence Missouri via Hwy 270 / Hwy 40-64/ Hwy 70 ( 78 miles )07:15 PM – Final dignified transfer for Tue June 2nd to Missouri PGR. Dismissal Please arrive with tanks full as there will be no stops during this segment. Everyone should be prepared to escort SAFELY at highway speeds. Missouri Highway Patrol has been requested.
