ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Mr. Charles (Chuck) Bondi, USAF, due to personal circumstances have asked the Patriot Guard Riders to transport their late father who succumbed to a sudden and aggressive illness by Pony Express on a 3,000 mile journey from Florida to Washington State to his final resting place, and it will be our Honor to do so.
Mr. Bondi joined the Air Force at age 17, he served as an aircraft mechanic at Travis AFB where the oldest child of his four children was born in 1956. He went on to work for Boeing among other industry leaders, both in Seattle and later in Las Vegas.
Florida PGR will make a Dignified Transfer of this hero to Georgia PGR at the first Georgia staging point. Georgia PGR will make a Dignified Transfer of this hero’s cremains to Tennessee PGR at the final Georgia staging point.
