Ladies & Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders,
We have been invited by the family of Navy veteran Charles Bennett to honor their loved one.
Mr. Bennett was a submariner during the Vietnam War and earned the National Service Medal and a good conduct medal. His son wasn’t sure if he’d earned the Vietnam Campaign/Service medal as the boat was on clandestine missions.
Charles served 6 years total in the Navy, and when he left he joined the police force in Pocatello, Idaho as a motorcycle cop.
He did that for about a year then went on to other things. Mr. Bennett was an avid sprint car fan and hockey player, who also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Please join me to show honor to this Navy and LEO veteran as his family bids him goodbye.
