DESCRIPTION:Sgt Chad Elliott Jenson\, Active Duty \nUSMC – WoT \nSan Diego\, California – 15 Aug 2017\n\n[HR][/HR]\nABOUT THE MISSION: \nThis is Part 1 of a 2 Part mission. \nThe family of Sgt Chad E Jenson has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so. \nChad Elliott Jenson grew up in Redondo Beach\, CA where his family still resides. He was a standout football player at Mira Costa High School where he helped his team win a championship in 2009. \nSgt Jenson was with the 2nd Raider Battalion\, Special Operations Command\, Camp Lejeune\, North Carolina. For his honorable service he was awarded the U.S. Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal\, A Global War on Terrorism Service Medal\, National Defense Service Medal\, Navy Meritorious Unit commendation\, two certificates of commendation\, three letters of appreciation and two meritorious masts. \nSadly\, this hero was among the group killed when their KC-130 Hercules aircraft crashed in western Mississippi on 10 JULY 2017. \nChad is survived by his parents\, his brother\, his wife and a stepson. \nNOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
