Celebration of Heroes to benefit the Norman Veterans’ Center Comment

  1. Mission Complete:29 June 2019 –HOTH – Celebration of Heroes. Norman, Okla.

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, the Metro Brokers of Oklahoma had a fund raiser at Hollywood Corners in Norman, OK. to help support the Norman Veteran Center with auctions and any donations made by attendees, with all proceeds going to the Veteran Center.

There were 12 Patriot Guard Riders on 10 bikes who attended the mission to Honor Veterans of all Branches of the Military who served honorably in service to this great nation.

The briefing was held, to inform the riders of what this event was about, and Service Flags for all Military Branches and a significant number of American Flags were staked on both sides of the venue stage.

To start the event, a prayer was said followed by The Army Color Guard posting the Colors. The National Anthem was sung by Brandi Newman, followed by introductions of the dignitaries in attendance. Once the Color Guard returned the Colors, PGR members retrieved the flags and stakes and returned them to the flag vehicle, thus ending our Mission.

Thank you to all my fellow Patriot Guard Riders for attending this mission. Your presence made a difference to the Veterans in attendance and the community.

Most of all thank you Metro Brokers of Oklahoma for being involved with the community and staging the fund raiser in support of the Veteran Center.

A special thanks to all Veterans who have served this great nation with pride and sacrifice.

    Respectfully,
    RC Dennis Denson
    God bless ride safe.
