SGT Cecil Raborn Owens, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

The family of Cecil Raborn Owens, 86 cordially invited the Patriot Guard Riders to Honor their Hero. SGT Owens proudly served our country in the Korean war with the 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 82 Airborne Division. This decorated soldier’s Medals include the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal w/Valor. He was Honorably Discharged March 2, 1953. Mr. Owens retired from the California State Department of Water Resources and was active in community affairs. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, one son, three stepchildren, 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and one sister.
