ABOUT THE MISSION:
Cecil Lemuel “Dave” Davidson, 94, of Rogers passed away May 16, 2019. He was born January 16, 1925 in Crowell, Texas to the late Richard Lemuel Davidson and Lura Mae Beatty Davidson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Naomi Lou Norwood Davidson; 2 children, Mary and Thomas Davidson who passed in infancy and 6 siblings. Dave retired after a 35 year career with Southwestern Bell Telephone and spent several years as a Door Greeter at Wal-Mart. He was a member of Grace Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, the Telephone Pioneers and the American Legion. Survivors include 2 daughters; a son, a brother and sister, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Celebration of his Life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, June 1 at Grace Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2451 W Wedington Dr, Fayetteville.
