The family of Carlton Mineau, 91, of Gladstone has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to stand our flag line in silent honor of his service to our country.

Carlton was one of the greatest generations and served in the United States Navy during World War II.

Military rites will be conducted by the Gladstone American Legion Post #71.

He was honored to be able to go on the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight to Washington D.C.
