ABOUT THE MISSION:

It is my sad duty to inform you that Active Duty Marine Carlos Manuel Mota age 26, of San Diego, California, passed away on Saturday February 22, 2020 doing what he loved dearly, riding his motorcycle. He served in the U.S. Marines Corps from 2016.  Sgt Mota’s family has requested The Patriot Guard Riders accompany him from the Atlanta Airport on Saturday to Douglasville and then Stand a Flag Line of Honor during visitation and Military Honors on Monday March 9. He stood for us and it is now our turn to stand for him.

Special Instructions:

Stage in the parking lot. After a short briefing we will establish a flag line and stand the flag line as Sgt. Mota is brought out to the hearse. The time is approximate but is scheduled to be around 6:15 PM.   We will then form up for a law enforcement led escort to Whitley Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home in Douglasville.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will be provided.

Special Instructions:

Stage in the parking lot for a briefing.  We will then form a Flag Line of Honor and stand from 11:00 AM until the service starts at 1:00 PM. We will stand as Military Honors are rendered.  After the service we will  quietly disperse as there will be no interment procession.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
