He graduated from Bradford High School and was a lifelong resident of  Kenosha until 1986.\n\nCarl was a WW II Veteran serving with the U.S. Army in  Europe in the 553rd AAA Battalion. He held the position of cannoneer and was  awarded 3 Bronze Battle Stars. The Bronze Battle Star is worn on the campaign  ribbon and denotes an individual’s participation in a specific battle\,  engagement or offensive.\n\nMass of Christian Burial\nSaturday\, August 13\,  2016\, 9:00  a.m.\nSt. Anne Catholic Church\n9091 Prairie Ridge Blvd\nPleasant Prairie\, Wisconsin 53158\n  \nStaging: 8:00 a.m. \nInterment with Full Military Honors\, All Saints Cemetery.\n\nDue to very short notice\, this is being submitted with no RC  assigned.
