The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family of Lt Col Deems\, United States Air Force\, to stand in his honor and escort him to Barrancas National Cemetery. Lt Col Deems honorably served in the United States Air Force for over 24 years and departed this earth at age 65 .Lt Col Deems received the following awards: Achievement Medal\, Commendation Medal with 1 Device\, Defense Meritorious Service Medal\, Meritorious Service Medal w/3 Devices\, National Defense Service Medal\, Readiness Medal w/1 Device\, and the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon.
