The family of Carl Melugin has requested that the Patriot Guard take part in all aspects of the services for their loved one.
Carl served with the US Navy from Dec of 1951 until his honorable discharge in Dec of 1955. Carl served aboard the USS Holmes and took part in operation Ivy in 1952 while serving in Korea. Carl was awarded 3 Purple Hearts for wounds he endured. Carl was a member of VFW Post 976 in Troy.
We will stand a flag line for his visitation and then provide an escort to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for his interment.

Staging: 0830 hrs (8:30am) at the funeral home.
Line up for escort as per RC instructions.
Flag line in place for family arrival at 0900 hrs (9am).
Following the funeral service we will provide escort to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for Carl’s interment. Appointment is for 12:30pm.
