The family of Mark Everett Fite has, requested the Patriot Guard to stand a flag line to honor his life and service and we are honored to accept.
CPT Fite Mark joined the Navy in 1943 and over nearly 30 years he served as a sonarman during WWII, graduated from the University of Arkansas and Golden Gate Seminary, then served as a Chaplain until his Navy retirement in 1972. He served aboard several ships throughout the Pacific and Arctic Oceans and with his family at many locations to include Korea, Hawaii, California and ultimately in Athens GA at the Navy Supply Corps School. He was a Veteran of WW II, Korea, and Vietnam.
This will be a Flag Line only at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton GA
Staging will be NLT 10:25 am at the PIC building at GNC. There will be a briefing and then we will assemble at the assigned shelter for the 11:00 am service on Friday 9, Sept 2016
