Bruce Culbertson, 66
USMC Veteran
Nashville, TN
May 31, 2016

The state of Tennessee is in mourning, she has lost another one of her Heroes, Bruce Culbertson, 66, United States Marine Corps. Bruce volunteered for the Marines after he finished a quarter of college in Jan. 1969. His major reasons for joining were 2 relatives- uncle- Sgt. Phillip L Stinson (ret.), and his cousin- Cpl. Terry L. Smith (KIA ’68) – gym at Quantico is named for Terry.

Bruce was very proud to be a Marine and to have served his country. He tied for his platoon’s dress blues with another Marine. He gave the right to represent the platoon to the other Marine “He deserved it more than I”.

He loved what the Patriot Guard stood for and wished he wasn’t sick so, “I could have joined and participate.” Semper Fi

The Culbertson family has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to Stand in Honor and Respect of their Hero and ours, it will be our humble honor to do so…..
