Briggs Finly Hensley, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Briggs proudly served his country as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne and served two years of his service in Okinawa. Throughout his service he had the opportunity to see many other countries in the Far East. Briggs kept in touch with many of his friends he made while serving. Briggs was a member of the American Legion Post 16. Briggs lived a full life. During his life he had many jobs, but his favorite job was driving the bus. He started driving with Lynchburg Bus Service and for the last 30 years he worked for Abbott Bus Lines. During his years of driving he visited 49 states and Canada. Briggs and Peggy enjoyed traveling and making many friends while on the bus. He was always planning his next big road trip
