Honor Mission

ABOUT THE MISSION:

  The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Brian Sheetz, U.S. Army veteran, to stand in silent honor then escort to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies for the interment.  Brian served in the U.S. Army, serving in Iraq during the Global War on Terrorism, recipient of the Silver Star Medal for gallantry in action against the enemy in Iraq and received the Purple Heart.  Brian later became a member of the AMVETS, The Military Order of the Purple Heart and The Disabled American Veterans.  Brian received the Silver Star Medal, Purple Heart Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal and the Global War On Terror Service Medal.
  Brian served our country with honor, now its our to stand in honor for him.

There are two Staging locations and times, members can attend all of a Mission or any part of the Mission. PGR sets no time for a member to stand a Mission. We Thank you for whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your time.
Remember that the National Cemetery is a Federal Reservation and NO WEAPONS are permitted.
The deer are on the move, please be aware & alert of your surroundings.  Also before heading out, please watch the weather,dress accordingly and hydrate.
