Honor Mission
Bradley J. Williams, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Seventy-two year old Bradley J. Williams served his country honorably in the US Air Force for four years. He attained the rank of Sgt (E4) prior to his discharge in 1971. His awards/decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, Small Arms Excellent Marksmanship Ribbon, and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. Sgt Williams was a Communications Center Specialist in the Air Force. The PGR has been requested to conduct a Pony Express Mission to transport Bradley’s remains from Alamogordo, New Mexico to his brother’s house in Niles, Michigan. This mission post is for the Oklahoma portion of the mission, only. ALL TIMES are flexible and may change without notice.

Special Instructions:

Mandatory Briefing: 5:45 PM.
Upon arrival of the Texas PGR (Approximately 6:00 PM) we will conduct a Dignified Transfer of the USA Flag and the Urn.
Once Oklahoma PGR has taken custody, this part of the mission will conclude, and all PGR personnel will be released.
There will be NO KSU for Oklahoma PGR on 12 November 2019. We will maintain custody and stay overnight in Erick, OK.

Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

Mandatory Briefing: 6:15 AM.
KSU will be at 6:30 AM.
We will conduct another Dignified Transfer to the Missouri PGR at the end of the day.
All Times are Approximate.
After leaving Erick our 1st fuel/rest stop will be the Shell Station in front of WalMart, exit #136 off I-40 (Garth Brooks Blvd), Yukon, OK approximately 09:00 am with KSU at 09:30.
Our 2nd fuel/rest stop will be the Quick Trip at 6008 S 49th W Ave, Exit # 222A off I-44 Tulsa, OK approximately 12:30 pm with KSU at 1:00 pm.
Final Destination will be the Downstream “Q” Store, Exit # 1 of I-44 (in Missouri), Quapaw, OK approximately 2:45 pm with Dignified Transfer to MO PGR scheduled at approximately 3:30 pm.
OK will conclude their part at this time.
All wishing to join in at the different rest/fuel stops will need to be gassed up and ready to go by KSU.
There will be a short Mandatory Briefing before each KSU.
