Fellow Riders,
It is with saddened heart that I must inform you that the State of Alabama and our country has lost another true American Hero. The family of Mr. Booker Green has requested that the Patriot Guard Riders stand for their loved one. He was 90 years old.
Mr. Green, a Buffalo Soldier, was also a soldier for the “Red Ball Express” which insured that Patton’s 3rd Army would receive supplies on the front lines during World War II. Although his awards and commendations are unknown at this time, he received an Honorable Discharge.
We will be honored to stand a Silent Flag line and escort Mr. Green, family and friends to his final resting place. LEO – Yes.
Visitation: 0900 – 1100 hrs. – St. Louis Street Missionary Baptist Church, 108 N. Dearborn St.
Family will arrive at 1000 hrs. We shall start Silent Flag Line at 0945 hrs.
Funeral Hour: 1100 hrs. – St. Louis Street Missionary Baptist Church, 108 N. Dearborn St.
Interment: Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway. Mobile, AL
