ABOUT THE MISSION:

Mr. McClendon served in the United States Marine Corps from 1943-1946 in the Pacific Theater. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant as a battlefield promotion when his infantry unit officers were KIA. He was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries received in combat operations in the Philippines.

Starting Time 11:00 am
Following the mission briefing, Riders will stand the Flag Line.
After the start of the Service, Flags will be furled and Riders dismissed.
Riders wishing to do so can proceed to the Cemetery for the Interment Service scheduled to follow the conclusion of the Funeral Service.
The Interment Service will be conducted at Grandview Cemetery, Grandview, TX. The Cemetery is approximately a one hour drive (50 miles) from the funeral home; I-35W south to exit 15 (FM 916), then west on highway 916 to the cemetery.
The family plans to depart for the cemetery at the conclusion of the funeral service.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided
Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
