ABOUT THE MISSION:
Billy Carlisle was born December 10, 1939 in Crossplains, TN and passed away in West Monroe September 22, 2019. Preceding him in death are his parents Edward and Ola Carlisle; sister, Brenda Carlisle; brother, Eddie Carlisle; son, Billy Wayne Carlisle Jr. and infant son.Billy is survived by his wife, Amy Carlisle; 4 daughters, Pam Dixon, Allie Kilgore, Star Jones and Sibi Riffer; 2 stepdaughters, Vicky Thomas, Anna Zielinksi; 1 stepson, Henry Zielinski; 2 brothers, Terry and Jerry Carlisle; 15 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.Billy served in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Stead Air Force Base in Reno, Nevada, as an Airman 3C mechanic. After his military duties, he worked as a truck driver for several celebrity singers and retired as a construction superintendent.
