Billy Maxwell, Veteran

The family of U S Army, Korean War veteran, Billy Maxwell, have ased the Patriot Guard to be present to honor their hero. Billy Maxwell was wounded in the Korean War and didn’t receive a Purple Heart.
He joined the US Army at the age of 17. He was wounded and in the field for a week before he was properly attended to. Now at the age of 86, he will finally receive his Purple Heart. Members of his present church found out about story and with Billy Maxwell’s help went through the proper channels with the Veterans Administration to finally get his medal. The ceremony/ presentation will be Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Cache, Okla. at the New Life Assembly of God church.
