The family of Bill Evans has honored the Patriot Guard Riders with a request to stand a flag line, serve as pall bearers and escort their loved on to his final resting place at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery from the Walnut Lawn Funeral home on Wed. 15 June 16.
SGT Evans proudly and honorably served his country in the USA and received the National Defense Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Upon his discharge from the Army, he became an insurance salesman the he started an employment agency in the Springfield area.
Our hero was an active member of the Shriners, and was a master mason. he was also a member of the Elks Club. He loved going to casinos and spending time with this family, friends.
