The family of Brigadier General James Hoerner have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand a silent Flag Line in Honor of his service to our Country. BG Hoerner joined the Army in 1942 as a cook. He was 25 years old on D-Day when he landed on Utah Beach as a Company Commander, he retired in 1978 as Brigadier General. His accomplishments have been many in his 97 years, both in the military and in civilian life. He became a US Bankruptcy court Trustee when he was 70 and retired at the age of 90.
