Bernard Lynn “Bud” Glass, Retired

ABOUT THE MISSION:

CMSgt Bernard “Bud” Glass proudly served our country in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1990. During that time, Bud served in various locations around the globe. He achieved the rank of Chief Master Sergeant and was awarded numerous commendations and medals, to include the Bronze Star. Bud retired in 1990, and continued working for the Air Force as a contractor in San Antonio, TX. Bud was instrumental in implementing the program Combat Edge, which helped support fighter pilots throughout the United States military.

Riders will stage at the Hope Lutheran Church in Corinth, TX for both the mission and safety briefings. Honor bikes will be selected, and all riders staged for the procession to DFW National Cemetery. Upon arrival at the DFW Information Center, honor bikes will turn into the designated lane, while the remaining riders proceed on to the designated shelter to help set the flags and await the arrival of the procession.
Flags & Water:
Flags will not be provided
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

Riders not participating in the procession will stage at the DFW National Cemetery Visitor Center to be briefed. They will then proceed to the designated shelter, set flags and await the arrival of the family and friends of American Hero CMSgt Bernard “Bud” Glass. Riders will stand tall and silent during the committal service, after which, flags will be returned to the storage locker/vehicle and riders will be debriefed and dismissed.

Large Bike Flags will NOT be needed.
Water will be provided.
