ABOUT THE MISSION:

  Corporal Bernard L. Dunlap served honorably in the US Army, during the Korean War.  He was the recipient of the Purple Heart and the Combat Infantryman’s badge after being wounded by the enemy.  He also received the Korea Service Medal with 5 Bronze Stars, United Nations Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea Medal.
Corporal Dunlap is the uncle of WVPGR Ride Captain, District 6, Michael Whitlatch.  Bernard served our country with honor, now it is our turn to stand for in honor for him.

Corporal Bernard L Dunlap’s service and sacrifices will not be forgotten. He is a “TRUE AMERICAN HERO”. May he Forever Rest in Peace & may the memories of your brave Soldier give you peace, comfort, and strength through the rest of your days.
