ABOUT THE MISSION:
Corporal Bernard L. Dunlap served honorably in the US Army, during the Korean War. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart and the Combat Infantryman’s badge after being wounded by the enemy. He also received the Korea Service Medal with 5 Bronze Stars, United Nations Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea Medal.
Corporal Dunlap is the uncle of WVPGR Ride Captain, District 6, Michael Whitlatch. Bernard served our country with honor, now it is our turn to stand for in honor for him.
