ABOUT THE MISSION:

Bernard Keith Stout is a United States Air Force Veteran. Bernie was inducted on Sept. 19, 1961, and served 18 years as an Automatic Flight Control Systems Specialist and 3 years as an Electrical Power Production Technician. Bernie also served in Vietnam for 2 years, 6 months and 13 days. On Sept 1, 1980, having attained the rank of Master Sergeant, Bernie was honorably discharged.Bernie was awarded the NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.
