The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in Honor of Bernard E. Ruby’s service to our country.

Mr. Ruby was born in Otter Lake, Michigan on April 23, 1929. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He served his community in the American Legion, Post 504 as Commander, Adjutant and Chaplain for over 55 years. Mr. Ruby played baseball for many years, including blooper ball at Northwoods. He worked at the American Legion Children’s Home. He was a school bus driver, a Justice of the Peace and served as a ordained Minister. He worked for Chevrolet, eventually retiring from Fisher Body Shipping and Receiving Department in 1986. Survived by 2 sons, one brother and two granddaughters.
