He proudly served his country in the US Army from 1943 to 1945. Benjamin’s MOS (Military Occupation Specialty) was 345 Truck Driver. Benjamin served 1 year\,10 months\,4 days in overseas service and was part of the Rhineland campaign along with others in the European theater. His last duty was with the 2224 Quartermaster Company. Private First Class Benjamin Miranda was released from active duty and honorable discharged in November 1945. All members are required to carry a face mask/ cloth covering at all times during the mission. There are still partners (funeral homes\, cemeteries\, churches) that require masks to be worn. There are no exceptions.. If you feel ill or have a temperature\, please stay home until you improve.. If\, in the past week\, you have tested positive for COVID-19\, or you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past week\, immediately contact the State Captain or an Assistant State Captain.. Continue practicing social distancing while standing the flag line and at the support vehicle. Maintain at least 15 feet separation from all family members\, cemetery personnel\, Honor Guard\, funeral home staff\, clergy\, etc.. Wash your hands before\, during (as practical)\, and after missions.. Water will be provided by the flag support person and passed out only by that person.
