HOTH Mission
Beirut Bombing 35th Anniversary Memorial Walk
Georgetown, South Carolina – 10-12-18

ABOUT THE MISSION:

Ed Brown, a Navy veteran, is walking from Jacksonville, FL to Camp Lejeune, NC, in honor of the 35th Anniversary of the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut. Ed was a 22 year old Navy Corpsman on duty in the sick bay about 100 yards from the explosion. It is a day that he will never forget, and he is doing this in the memory of the 241 American military members that lost their lives that day.  220 Marines, 18 Sailors and 3 Soldiers lost their lives that day. Please help us support Ed in his quest to remember these heroes. There will be greeting locations each day through 10-16-18. We will not know those locations until late in the day each previous day. Those locations and times will be posted as soon as they become available. Please watch for postings on the PGR National site, our local email and Facebook.
