ABOUT THE MISSION:

Mr. Gentry enlisted on April 7, 1944, and was stationed in the Pacific Theater aboard the Supply Ship, USS Panay. He achieved the rank of Seaman First Class, receiving his Honorable Discharge on February 3, 1946. Awards include the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal and theWWII Victory Medal.

Riders will stage at the funeral home for both the mission and safety briefings. Honor bikes will be selected and all riders staged for the procession to DFW National Cemetery. Upon arrival at the DFW Information Center, honor bikes will turn into the designated lane while the remaining riders proceed to the designated shelter to help set the flags and await the arrival of the procession.

If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.

The Patriot Guard Riders will stage at the Visitor’s Center, DFW National Cemetery. Following the mission briefing, Riders will proceed to the Shelter and stand the Flag Line for the Interment Service. At the conclusion of the Service, Flags will be furled and Riders dismissed.
