ABOUT THE MISSION:

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Patriot Guard Riders:

We have been requested to stand for Staff Sgt. Austin Bieren (25) of the United States Air Force. The Department of Defense announced March 30th, 2017 that Airman Bieren died of a non-combat related incident in Northern Syria while deployed in support of combat operations for Operation Inherent Resolve. Bieren is the second American serviceman known to have died in Syria. Staff Sgt Bieren was assigned to the 21st Space Wing of Colorado’s Peterson Air Force Base.

***Directions to Umatilla from I-84. Either come in Exit 168 onto Hwy 730 through Irrigon and follow east OR stay on I-84 and take Exit 179 to I-82 Umatilla /Kennewick and then take the Umatilla off-ramp. The Staging area is close to this freeway off ramp.
